Roger Waters Announces Final Wall Show

Roger Waters has announced his final show, which is set to take place in Quebec, and will be the biggest one to date.

The final show of The Wall Tour will take place in Quebec City on 21st of July; Twenty two years to the day after Waters played in Berlin, shortly after the Berlin Wall came down.

Waters has revealed in a new video (watch below) that the final show on the tour will be different to all of the previous shows, he said:

"This one will be different. It’s going to be 800 feet wide, to make it the widest wall ever. When we did it in Berlin the end of the wall tapered off. Here it’s going to look like it disappears, so we get a Great Wall of China effect. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do outdoors theatrically. If you don’t come there’s something f***ing wrong with you.

The show is set to feature more lighting, more pyrotechnics and a better surround sound system. The bigger the better! In previous interviews, Waters has revealed that he would retire after The Wall Tour finishes. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
